Gateways to a World of Savings
A GSM gateway is a device for reducing the user’s costs when calling from fixed lines to GSM networks. In general, calling from the fixed to a mobile network is more expensive than calling between mobile networks, but a GSM gateway allows you to save the difference. All 2N GSM gateways also exist in a UMTS network version. A GSM gateway is a tool for:
- Cost savings
- Receiving and sending SMS messages
- Receiving and sending FAX messages
- Forwarding calls to mobile phones - Mobility Extensions
2N offers 4 different types of GSM gateways:
|
2N® EasyGate
The 2N® EasyGate is an analogue GSM Gateway for transmitting voice, data and analogue faxes. It is an alternative option for customers that do not have a fixed line or who are unwilling to rely on it completely. The 2N® EasyGate allows you to make calls, connect to the Internet and send analogue faxes. Using the SMS server also means you can receive and send SMS messages for better customer communication. |
|
2N® StarGate
The 2N® StarGate is a maximum 32-channel GSM/UMTS Gateway that significantly cuts calling costs. The gateway can be used both for receiving and sending SMS messages and as back-up for the PRI connection to the public telephone network. |
|
2N® BlueTower
The 2N® BlueTower is an 8-channel GSM/UMTS Gateway that significantly cuts the costs of phoning. The gateway can be used both for receiving and sending SMS messages and as a backup PRI connection to the public telephone network. |
|
2N® VoiceBlue Lite
If you own a software private branch exchange or a telephone exchange with a VoIP interface supporting SIP or H.323 protocol for the VoIP GSM gateway, this group of products is intended for you. Just like other 2N GSM gateways, these too are designed for maximum cost reduction and use all available functionalities to this end. Receiving SMS messages comes as a standard feature. |
|
2N® VoiceBlue Next
The 2N® VoiceBlue Next, a successor to the 2N VoiceBlue Lite gateway, belongs to the new generation of VoIP gateways. It brings you a significant reduction in the costs of calls to mobile networks and is compatible with a wide range of IP PBXs. Its simple and intuitive setting via a web interface enables you to quickly set up the VoIP interface as well as the gateway itself.
