As opposed to extending a PBX a Telecommuting
solution will allow users to connect to the PBX from many locations
and using diverse equipment and access routes. (DSL, Cable
modem, IP Phones, residential gateways and softphones.) Some
users may be connecting to the office over their laptop from
a hotel.
