IX66 - SIP Router and Firewall
InterteX IX66 is a complete solution for SOHO or Residential SIP VoIP Deployments
The IX66 Internet Gate from Intertex represents a new generation of advanced, highly functional and compact broadband access products. It includes an access router enabling several PC’s and other devices to share a single broadband connection and a firewall for security and privacy on the LAN.
The firewall has the unique feature of handling IP Telephony and other applications conforming to the SIP (session initiation protocol) standard.
The IX66 can handle up to 24 SIP devices IP Phones, Softphones, gateway ports (by default includes 5 SIP Licenses) and will support 8 simultaneous calls. The unit has unlimited licenses for PCs on a router level and will support the bandwidth of a full T1.
The unit also includes a PCMCIA Slot enabling the addition of a Wireless card for a residential wireless network that will support wireless SIP devices.
Unit includes a basic SIP proxy and a dialplan allowing it to be used as a local mini PBX for IP phones. In conjunction with a hosted IPBX solution this can be used as a "fall back" proxy in case IP connectivity is down to allow the local IP phone network to continue operating and even make calls out through a local optional gateway.
Unit also allows remote management making it a interesting tool for corporate IP Telephony solutions that need to managed remotely.
This unit is without doubt the best way to get stared in IP Telephony since it takes out all the hassles of NAT traversal.

The InterteX IX66 is an advanced personal firewall that protects your PC or LAN. The firewall integrated with the access router in the Internet Gate assures that your local area network (LAN) remains private and not part of the Internet.
The firewall uses packet filtering, stateful inspection, and application proxys together with NAT to protect your network.
First on the market, the IX66 firewall fully supports the SIP protocol, making it possible to use IP Telephony, presence and instant messaging and appliances control. Previously, such applications were impossible on a protected LAN!

Front Panel:
Let your Internet Gate check your email accounts and notify you on the display when a new message has arrived.

The front panel gives you a presentation of the current status of the product and its connected networks.

Router Based Firewall:
The built-in firewall protects your computer or local network from unauthorised access. The firewall uses packet filtering, stateful inspection and application proxies together with address translation to protect your PC or local network.
Advanced Firewall Management:
The powerful yet easy to use configuration allows games and other applications to pass the firewall. The user interface is designed to allow both professionals and ordinary users to configure the firewall.
Firewall Log:
The firewall log gives you an opportunity to see what packets that has been treated by the firewall and what actions that has been taken.

USB Connection:

NAT:
The NAT function (Network Address Translation) enables you to shares a single broadband connection with multiple computers or other devices on your local network.
DHCP Server:
Automatically assigns IP Addresses to computers, or other devices, connected to your local network.
DHCP Client:
The DHCP Client enables you to get the necessary network settings from your Internet Service provider (ISP) automatically. This makes the installation easier.
PPPoE and PPoA:
PPPoE support. Connect to your DSL provider using PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet) or PPPoA (PPP over ATM), if your DSL provider uses this method.
SIP Support:
The Internet Gate has built-in supports for the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). SIP is a new Internet protocol that has rapidly become popular in the last couple of years. It is used for communication person-to-person, in services such as telephony, presence and instant messaging (chat).
Web Server:
The built-in web server provides a ways to easily configure the product.
Auto login and Keep-alive:
