A Gateway Platform that Outperforms the Dated Designs Prevalent in the Market Today

Digium's VoIP gateways are cost-effective, industrial grade appliances and are available at a price point of about half of its competition. They are standards based and interoperable with most SIP compliant vendors and service providers. There are two models of gateways: the G100 supporting up to 30 concurrent calls, and the G200 for 60 concurrent calls. The gateways are based on a power-saving embedded design with a highly efficient digital signal processor (DSP) handling all media-related operations.

Additionally, the new gateways represent a solution to the challenge of running Asterisk applications in virtualized environments. TDM interface cards require a card slot – something distinctly missing from virtual servers.
