Adding New Members to the Grandstream IP Phone Line Grandstream has launched three new IP Phones to the market in the last few weeks. The GXP1100 series and some of the lower GXP1400 series phones will be discontinued and or phased out over the next few months with these new product introductions. Here are some quick details of the new models: The GXP1610 is a simple IP phone for a small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) or home office use. This Linux-based model features single SIP account, up to 2 call appearances, and 3 XML programmable soft keys. A 132x48 LCD screen creates a clear display for easy viewing. Additional features such as dual switched 10/100 Mbps ports, multi-language support, call-waiting, and 3-way conferencing allow the GXP1610 to be a high quality, user-friendly basic, versatile and dependable office phone. The GXP1620/1625 is Grandstream's standard IP phone for small businesses, this Linux-based model includes 2 lines, 3 XML programmable soft keys, and 3-way conferencing. Both phones include dual 10/100M network ports and the GXP1625 includes integrated PoE, the GXP1620 must use the included power supply.The GXP1620/1625 also support multi-language and call-waiting. The GXP1628 is a powerful IP phone for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs). This Linux-based model includes 2 lines, 3 XML programmable soft keys, 8 BLF keys and 3-way conferencing. A 132x48 backlit LCD screen creates a clear display for easy viewing. Additional features such as dual switched gigabit network ports, HD audio, multi-language support, integrated PoE, and call-waiting allow the GXP1628 to be a high quality, versatile and dependable office phone. These new models are stylish, functional and reliable, making great additions to the Grandstream IP Phone portfolio. Grandstream Now Offers an NVR for your IP Surveillance Needs Grandstream has launched their new NVR product recently as well. The GVR3550 is a powerful Network Video Recorder (NVR) that offers small to medium businesses (SMBs) and residential users a reliable and easy-to-manage solution for video surveillance recording and monitoring. It provides video recording, indexing, searching and video storage management for up to 24 IP video cameras to allow users to record and monitor their IP video surveillance network using one device. The GVR3550 supports all Grandstream IP Video surveillance cameras and IP Video Encoders/ Decoders in addition to all ONVIF compliant IP Cameras (pending). Users can view the live feed of up to 16 cameras simultaneously by connecting the GVR3550 to a TV or computer monitor or through remote access, and can save up to 16TB of video files on the device by connecting up to 4 hard drives.
